Our company uses SMS text messaging to send building automation, HVAC, and alarm notifications to authorized personnel. These messages may include equipment alarm status, return-to-normal status, timestamps, and source names from the building management system.

SMS messages are only sent to employees, contractors, or customer-authorized contacts who have agreed to receive these operational notifications. This service is limited to a small approved contact list, currently no more than 11 recipients.

We collect and use mobile phone numbers only for the purpose of sending operational alarm notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers may be shared with our SMS service provider only as needed to deliver text messages.

Message frequency varies based on building alarm activity, but is expected to be limited and related only to system alarms and service notifications. Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message. For help, recipients may reply HELP or contact our office directly.

SMS messages are intended for operational notification only and are not a substitute for emergency services, fire alarm monitoring, life-safety systems, or 911.
